Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

We are seeking a Master Scheduler with prior training and experience working on major development programs to team with our program leadership to deliver a robust and accurate schedule. As Master Scheduler, you will own the development and maintenance of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for one of Anduril’s strategic programs. You will work mostly with our Program Managers (PMs) and Integrated Product Team (IPT) leads to tailor and status the IMS on a regular basis. The IMS serves as the source of truth for both Anduril leadership and our government customers, so it is critical that it reflects the current understanding at all times. You will be expected to understand the program scope at a detailed level and quickly intuit schedule impacts to scope or duration changes of critical program tasks.

Success in this position hinges on two key facets:

  1. Strong understanding of IMS and EVMS systems - this is a large development program with traditional reporting and EVM requirements. An understanding of (and preferably direct experience with) similar types of programs will be critical to ensuring a compliant program schedule.
  2. An Execution Mindset - we are looking for a self-starter who isn’t afraid of digging into the details with different teams to highlight conflicts or risks that can be raised to the program leadership team.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Consult with Program Managers and Engineering Leads to set up assignments, tasks, and subtasks.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain an effective scheduling management system across one or more programs.
  • Develop and coordinate an integrated master schedule (IMS) and integrated master plan (IMP) with internal departments and external stakeholders.
  • Status program schedules, identify problem areas, investigate off-schedule tasks, establish and document corrective action.
  • Resource-load and status the IMS on a regular basis. Deliver monthly IMS updates to our government customer.
  • Monitor project timelines and deadlines; identify potential project schedule delays and facilitate intervention in a timely manner.
  • Develop a work breakdown structure (WBS) based on the schedule inputs while routinely keeping up to date.
  • Evaluate performance and prepare project progress reports based on schedule and cost performance.
  • Accommodate updates and changes to project schedules on a regular basis.
  • Recommend actions to keep projects within budget and completed on time.
  • Keep stakeholders informed of project timelines and deadlines.
  • Document project scheduling processes and maintain appropriate records.
