WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Robotics Engineer at Anduril, you will be an integral team member focused on developing novel strategies for mission autonomy and control of unmanned vehicles and their payloads. The person in this position will work as part of a team to develop capabilities for multiple mission requirements, including aircraft control, mission execution, and sensor guided mission sets. We are looking for candidates willing to work in teams with a wide array of responsibilities and flexibility within a multi-disciplinary group. Applicants that have experience with algorithms, data messaging, and UI development are strongly encouraged to apply. Past and current customers include the U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, NOAA, NASA, and other defense industry partners.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • C++, QML, Javascript, MATLAB, or Simulink experience required.
  • Knowledge of networking applications (OSI, TCP/IP models) is a plus.
  • Experience with multi-threaded application development is a plus.
  • Proven experience with path-planning algorithms is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with the following:
  • Designing, developing, implementing, verifying, and testing algorithms to perform guidance navigation and control of unmanned vehicles.
  • Coding and testing software based upon software specifications.
  • Supporting software development using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, and other accepted design techniques.
  • Providing status reports and support documentation.
  • Working with program managers to identify requirements and meet those requirements on schedule for highly visible corporate initiatives.

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
