We are hiring a Senior Business Analyst - Financial Systems whose mission will be to work with business stakeholders to streamline our QTC, P2P, and R2R business process. You will report to the Senior Director of Business Applications within Global Business Operations and will be a trusted partner in documenting business requirements and in implementing processes that scale. You will be responsible for implementing business process automation, ensuring data integrity, and improving integrations to enable our Finance systems for the next level of growth. The successful candidate will play a significant role in how Armis operationalizes to scale and increases productivity. As a key member of the team, you will collaborate closely with our Finance and Accounting teams, as well as other cross-functional departments, to ensure IT General Controls (ITGC) and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance.

The Senior Business Analyst will work closely with Finance leadership to provide front-line support, identify gaps, and bring solutions. The Senior Business Analyst will act as a project manager, a business analyst, and/or implementation engineer for small-to-medium-sized projects. Much of the focus will also be on performing necessary day-to-day administrative tasks ensuring the optimum operation of existing systems and rapid resolution of problems/escalations. This role requires a deep understanding of financial processes and configuring NetSuite and Tipalti to support our evolving business requirements. You will interact with team members across the organization and will be instrumental in furthering the team's mission. This role offers a unique opportunity to be a part of an evolving business applications team, in a high-growth, global organization. You will have the chance to create, build and implement financial processes using standard methodologies. The Senior Business Analyst - Financial Systems will provide technical expertise, creative problem-solving skills, and superb business acumen to support and scale Oracle NetSuite, Tipalti and its surrounding application ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain system integrations with Oracle NetSuite, Tipalti, and our other business systems – focusing primarily on Finance and Accounting business processes.
  • Rapidly act to prioritize and resolve identified issues/bugs impacting on the day-to-day business operation of NetSuite, Tipalti and other Finance-related applications.
  • Partner with business leaders and stakeholders across the organization to identify and execute business objectives
  • Elicit, document, and analyze business requirements, processes, and workflows
  • Translate business requirements into clear and concise functional specifications for technical teams
  • Act in an advisory role to deliver and ensure continuous innovation
  • Design and deliver creative solutions to solve business problems and challenges
  • Lead report writing and analytics efforts (reports, dashboards)
  • Fill project manager role in small-to-medium-sized projects and implementations as required
  • Evaluate the current state of business applications and processes and conduct research on effective solution design and architecture
  • Build and maintain documents and diagrams on business processes/workflows and technical solutions
  • Proactively and continuously look out for new features, solutions, and technologies to enable continuous improvement and innovation
  • Facilitate and assist in end user/user acceptance testing and cyclical regression testing of business applications
  • Provide cross-functional trainings within the business applications team

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years as NetSuite business systems analyst or implementation consultant
  • Strong knowledge of Netsuite Financials, Costing, Advance Revenue Management (ARM), Advance Procurement and Inventory Management, Payment Systems Integration, Robotic Process Automation tools, Multi Subsidiary Accounting, and International localization
  • Strong knowledge of key financial processes such as Quote to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, Revenue Management, Cash Management, Payroll Operations, Costing / Cost Management, Budgeting & Planning, and Month/Quarter/Year-end close process optimization
  • Strong analytical skills and creative problem-solving skills
  • Good understanding of accounting standards and principles (GAAP, ASC606)
  • Prior experience implementing and maintaining SOX compliance of finance systems and applications (NetSuite, Tipalti, Payroll systems) and providing full support to internal controls team and external auditors
  • Superb ability to translate business processes to Suite Builder, Suite Flows, saved searches and reports
  • Excellent communications skills, including the ability to build positive relationships and to influence a desired outcome
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and Salesforce CPQ
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with scripting languages – such as C#, Java, JavaScript, Groovy, Suitescript
  • Experience with business application integrations and APIs – such as Dell Boomi, Workato and Suite Talk
