The Boring Company was founded to solve the problem of soul-destroying traffic by creating an underground network of tunnels. Today, we are creating the technology to increase tunneling speed and decrease costs by a factor of 10 or more with the ultimate goal of making Hyperloop adoption viable and enabling rapid transit across densely populated regions.
Responsibilities
- Prepare coffee, tea, and smoothie beverages for employees.
- Prepare meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for employees.
- Recommend products to clientele.
- Clean and maintain the area during downtime daily and as needed.
- Ensure that you are adhering to food safety procedures at all times.
- Accurately record customer order information.
- Take daily inventory and recommend restock purchases.
- Resolve customer complaints quickly and efficiently as they arise.
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent .
- 2+ years of experience as a chef in a fast casual environment.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Hospitality or event planning experience.
- Superior organizational skills including excellent written and verbal communication.
- An independent worker, with enthusiasm and an energetic approach to work.
- Food truck experience
Additional Requirements
- Position may require extended hours and weekend work.
- Willing to occasionally work outside or around construction sites.
