Coinbase is hiring a Senior Compensation Analyst to be part of our Total Rewards and Expansion team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting Coinbase’s global compensation programs and contributing to the development of plan design through compensation modeling, insights, and analysis.

The right candidate is analytical, process-and detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, high impact culture that values clear communication and efficient execution. You will be constantly looking for ways to evolve our compensation programs and identify the best way to drive scalability for the future.

What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):

  • Conduct quantitative analyses to support Compensation Leadership in various initiatives
  • Conduct benchmarking analysis to develop job families and pay targets to maintain the current job architecture and support the strategic growth of the business, as needed.
  • Participate in the research, development, and administration of assigned compensation programs; monitors program success.
  • Research and network with other companies and/or brands to keep abreast of best practices and trends in compensation
  • Partner with Talent and People Operations teams on process optimization and offer escalations
  • Build tools to support partner teams and drive efficient execution

What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):

  • 5+ years experience on Compensation teams
  • Experience with job analysis, benchmarking, and market pricing. Experience with Radford and McLagan is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, and a strong attention to detail
  • Comfort working in a ultra fast paced environment

Nice to haves:

  • Experienced at building compensation plans for tech and fintech companies
  • Experience supporting executive and board compensation and annual proxy disclosure
  • Experience supporting & designing global broad based equity plans

Pay Transparency Notice: Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position can range as detailed below. Full time offers from Coinbase also include target bonus + target equity + benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)).
Pay Range:
$127,075$170,000 USD
