Growth Product Manager - Job Description
What does it take?
We are seeking a highly motivated and expert Growth Product Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and driving the product strategy for growth, including finding opportunities for innovation and growth, leading the product roadmap, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful development and deployment of new features and capabilities. Your role will be to drive the acceleration of product growth per user as well as grow new users onto the platform. You will lead ideation, development, launch and scaling of innovative products and features. You will partner closely with core feature teams and cross-functional teams (marketing, legal, product, analytics, and more).
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, experience in software development or engineering, and a proven track record of successful product management in the technology industry. They will have experience driving growth across multiple channels and strategies in fast-growing technology companies, ideally including zero-to-one products and early-stage startups in the enterprise space. Our ideal candidate is one with a deep understanding of building a self-service funnel from acquisition to activation, retention, and monetization. This role is the intersection and glue between Product Management, UX, Product Analytics, and Marketing. They will also possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work optimally with a wide range of collaborators, including engineers, designers, sales, and marketing teams
Responsibilities
Create the growth strategy with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
Identify opportunities for growth around the entire user journey and work with hypotheses and experiments to understand our users better
Develop and execute growth initiatives to drive user acquisition, activation, retention, and revenue growth, working closely with marketing, product analysts, design, technical content and UX.
Use A/B testing and other optimization techniques to improve conversion rates across the user journey.
Analyze patterns of adoption, expansions, shrink, offboarding and how we can improve.
Provide insight to the product team in developing a compelling product roadmap that’s based on customer needs, strategic opportunities, and overall company resources
Collaborate with internal and external team members to formulate and detail the product requirements
Work with the analytics and finance teams to extrapolate the right metrics needed to measure the success of the product roadmap.
Develop inter-company communication and teamwork systems
Effectively communicate the product vision and strategy to a wide array of partners
Categorize new products according to existing product lines and work with pricing team
Is this You?
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
8+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on product growth
Experience with growth hacking techniques and A/B testing
Proven expertise in analytics, defining and measuring KPIs
Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive decision-making.
Proven track record of successful product management in the technology industry
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Experience working with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, design, and marketing.
