About the position:

Salt is expanding and seeking an outstanding Product Manager to join our product group. If you have strong leadership skills, a proactive problem solving approach, an entrepreneurial mindset, attention to detail, and steep learning curve - we are looking for you.

You will play a pivotal role in driving our data collection capabilities, which are vital components enabling our entire security ecosystem. You will get to demonstrate your deep understanding of cloud architecture, excellent relationship-building skills with partners and internal stakeholders, and your ability translating complex technical situations into smart product solutions.

What will you do:

• Take full ownership of our Salt data Collectors, managing their full life cycle from streamlined deployment to accurate and efficient data acquisition.
• Develop, cultivate and nurture technical partnerships with key stakeholders, including engineering teams, cloud service providers, and third-party integrators, to enhance data acquisition capabilities.
• Leverage your in-depth understanding of cloud technologies and eco system components to guide the evolution of data collection strategies.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams to define and prioritize technical requirements, ensuring alignment with product roadmap and business goals.
• Collaborate with the Product Management team to contribute to the creation and refinement of the product roadmap, incorporating data acquisition strategies and improvements.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market demands, and competitor offerings to inform data acquisition strategy and product enhancements.

Requirements:

• Proven experience (3+ years) in technical product management or related roles, with a focus on data acquisition, API technologies, and cloud technologies
• Experience in working with B2B SaaS/Cloud products
• Strong technical background or hands-on experience in software development
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc., and experience with APIs and data collection methodologies
• Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills to foster partnerships with technical stakeholders and external partners
• problem solving skills with a track record of translating complex technical concepts into actionable product strategies
• Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to create clear technical documentation and present complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
• MS/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent - Advantage
