INTERNAL MOBILITY SPECALIST, HUMAN RESOURCES

As an Internal Mobility Specialist on the Human Resources team, you will be responsible for managing the internal recruiting process from application to internal transfer. You will help hiring managers open job postings, schedule internal interviews, coordinate transfer actions all while ensuring a great experience for hiring managers and employees. You may also help managers with internal placement activity associated with program headcount changes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with hiring managers to open job postings that are compliant and compelling
  • Support employees along their career development paths
  • Review internal candidates to validate qualifications to be considered
  • Schedule internal interviews and delegate interview scheduling when appropriate
  • Ensure interview feedback is collected and the best candidate is selected
  • Coordinate and process internal transfer actions
  • Ensure interview feedback is provided to internal candidates in a constructive manner
  • Maintain compliance with regulations and company policies
  • Suggest, develop, and implement process improvements
  • Manage short and long term projects to completion

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1+ years of professional experience in Recruiting or Human Resources

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience with Greenhouse or other applicant tracking system
  • Experience working directly with clients or internal employees
  • Proficiency with MS Outlook and Microsoft Office tools
  • Basic knowledge of federal and state laws regarding employment practices
  • Experience at SpaceX
  • Ability to manage multiple on-going tasks, be flexible to change, and adapt to shifting priorities
  • Team player with a high sense of urgency
  • Self-directed, detail-oriented problem solver with a strong passion to contribute to the team’s success
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with tact, diplomacy, and discretion
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels, including senior management, on one-to-one basis and in groups
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Willing to work overtime as needed
  • This position can be based in any SpaceX office location

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range:
Internal Mobility Specialist: $30/hour

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.

Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. ITAR REQUIREMENTS:
