SpaceX was founded under the belief that a future where humanity is out exploring the stars is fundamentally more exciting than one where we are not. Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars.

SpaceX has developed a low latency, broadband internet system to meet the needs of consumers across the globe. Enabled by a constellation of low Earth orbit satellites, Starlink is providing fast, reliable internet to populations with little or no connectivity, including those in rural communities and places where existing services are too expensive or unreliable. We are looking for organized, creative, and driven leaders to lead development operations (tooling, mechanical & electrical integration, and automation & controls) supporting the production of satellites and network ground stations. • Manage tooling/testing equipment and infrastructure required to support engineering and production development projects
  • Provide mentorship to technicians and assist with design decisions, project strategies, and technical problems
  • Provide technical support and feedback to engineering groups on tooling, fabrication, testing, and maintenance
  • Ensure technicians and specialists on the team have the training, tools, and materials needed to carry out their duties
  • Identify and own projects that improve overall program success and progress
  • Improve factory safety and efficiency through regular auditing and continuous improvement
  • Enforce area standards and rules (includes bi-annual reviews, disciplinary action, time management)
  • Assist with recruiting efforts and hiring evaluations
  • Report on project status and critical path items to management and key stakeholders for alignment

  • Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of professional experience in a manufacturing or testing environment
  • 1+ years of experience leading a team or project
